The Carolina Panthers (0-3) and Minnesota Vikings (0-3) meet on Sunday afternoon in an NFC clash. The Panthers lost 37-27 to the Seahawks last week, while the Vikings fell 28-24 to the Chargers. Both teams are searching for their first win, and if this game doesn’t end in a tie, one of them will end their winless streak.

Key Stats
Rookie QB Bryce Young sat out last week, but he’s back and ready to go. He’s played in two games so far, and he’s totaled 299 yards, two TDs, and two picks on a 59.2 completion rate. His main receivers are former Viking Adam Thielen and DJ Chark Jr., and Carolina has Hayden Hurst, who is a solid tight end. The Vikings have allowed the sixth0most passing yards per attempt, so look for the Panthers to try and exploit their secondary.
Panthers starting running back Miles Sanders has been decent, and backup Chuba Hubbard has gotten off to a strong start. Minnesota doesn’t have a great run defense, so Carolina should have a lot of ways to attack.
Vikings QB Kirk Cousins has excellent numbers, as he’s already amassed a league-best 1,075 yards, nine TD passes, and he has a 108.2 passer rating. Running back Alexander Mattison has been a workhorse, as he’s rushed for 155 yards on 39 carries, but he hasn’t reached the end zone yet. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson leads the league with 458 yards and he’s third in receptions with 27. In addition to Jefferson, who is probably the best receiver in the NFL, Minnesota has solid weapons in rookie Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson.
Carolina’s defense has been subpar, especially against the run, so they could be in trouble again on Sunday versus a prolific offense.
Vikings vs Panthers Betting Prediction
Both teams are disappointed to be 0-3, but especially Minnesota, as most people wouldn’t have predicted them to be winless entering Week 4. The Vikings have had no issues scoring, but their defense has let them down. Carolina hasn’t been terrible on offense, but their defense has also been awful. Take the over here as these defenses are really struggling right now.
