The Miami Dolphins (2-0) host the Denver Broncos (0-2) on Sunday afternoon. The Dolphins topped the Patriots 24-17 last week, while the Broncos fell to the Commanders, 35-33. Denver continues to struggle in the Russell Wilson era, and they have a tough task against Miami on the road, who just beat New England. Denver was an awful 1-8 last year away from home, but in their first road contest this year, they’ll look to get off to a good start.

Key Stats
Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa threw for a whopping 466 yards in Week 1, followed by a 249-yard performance in Week 2. Overall, he has a 102.9 passer rating, and he’s one of the MVP favorites of this young season. His main target, Tyreek Hill, has been amazing this year, tallying 255 total yards so far and three receiving TDs. Receiver Jaylen Waddle has been ruled out for Sunday’s contest, which is a blow, but Hill, along with Braxton Berrios and tight end Durham Smythe should be enough for Tua.
Running back Raheem Mostert exploded for 121 yards on the ground last week versus the Patriots, and he is the main back for the Dolphins. If the offense is clicking like this regularly, they’ll be a really tough team to stop. On defense, the Dolphins are mediocre on paper, but they did give up a ton of yards in Week 1. They fared better in Week 2, but overall, they should hold their own just enough as the offense is expected to put up a ton of points week in and week out.
Russell Wilson has gotten off to a good start, totaling 485 yards and five passing TDs thus far. The former Seahawk and Super Bowl winner has a terrible record in Denver, but the talent is there. Running back Javonte Williams had his season cut short last year, but he’s back and fully healthy now. Receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton are solid, but it was Marvin Mims Jr. and Brandon Johnson who impressed last week. The defense surprisingly allowed 388 total yards, but a Wilson fumble and interception didn’t do the defense any favors.
Denver’s defense was very good last year, but they have not done well at all versus the pass this year. The Dolphins are a pass-heavy team, so the Broncos will need to gameplan well to avoid getting embarassed.
Broncos vs Dolphins Betting Prediction
The Broncos are in danger of falling to 0-3, and they don’t have an easy matchup at all. Miami wants to show out in their home opener, and after a 6-2 home record last season, they have to be confident. The spread might seem big, but the Dolphins should take care of business, even without Waddle. Denver is 0-2 against the spread this year, and things are starting to get frustrating in the Mile High City.
