Today, the Chiefs and Eagles match up on the biggest stage. Super Bowl LVII kicks off at 6:30 PM Eastern Time, and we’ll see the league’s best go at it in Glendale, Arizona. Both the Chiefs and Eagles finished the season as the #1 seed in their respective conferences, and today they’ll look to bring home the Lombardi Trophy. Kansas City had a great year, going 14-3, and after their bye week, they knocked off the Jaguars and then the Bengals, both at home, to reach their third Super Bowl in the past four seasons. For Philadelphia, they also went 14-3, and they dismantled the Giants and 49ers en route to their first Super Bowl appearance since Super Bowl LII in 2018, where they beat the New England Patriots. Below, we’ll take you through the best player props to target for the big game.
NFL Player Prop #1: Isiah Pacheco Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-101)
Isiah Pacheco had a solid rookie season for the Chiefs, and he’s emerged as their main back. Pacheco was quiet in the AFC Conference Championship versus Cincinnati, totaling just 26 rushing yards, but he has a good chance to bounce back today. While the Eagles have arguably the best pass defense in the NFL, their run defense was pretty mediocre. They allowed 121.6 yards on the ground on average, ranking right in the middle of the pack. In the regular season, the Eagles allowed over 47 rushing yards to an opposing running back in 12 of 17 games, and Pacheco should see enough carries to hit the over today. He’s averaged 68.5 yards on 13.5 carries in his previous 11 games, so expect him to be a big part of the Chiefs’ offense today.
NFL Player Prop #2: Boston Scott Over 8.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Boston Scott is the third running back on the Eagles’ depth chart, but he has been very productive lately. He totaled 21 yards against the Niners, and the week before that, he ran for 32 against the Giants. While these were blowouts that helped him see more touches, he’s shown that he can be a threat, especially around the goal line. Scott has recorded a rushing TD in each of his past three games, so the Eagles know they can chuck him into goal line situations. The fifth-year back has averaged 15.9 rushing yards per game this year (including the postseason), so expect him to get to at least nine today.
NFL Player Prop #3: Dallas Goedert Over 4.5 Receptions (-118)
Philadelphia tight end Dallas Goedert was excellent this year, and in both of his team’s playoff games, he’s recorded five catches. Now, Goedert has been targeted at least six times in each of the last three games, and he usually pulls down most of his targets. Even though Jalen Hurts looks to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith often, Goedert gets involved almost as much as those two. Expect the South Dakota State product to reach five receptions today versus an average Chiefs defense.
