The 76ers made a child’s play against the Charlotte Hornets last night, defeating them 121-82. Joel Embiid was simply magical as he went on to score 38 points while playing just under 30 minutes. James Harden earned his 73rd career triple-double, scoring 11 points, along with 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. None of the players from the Hornets teams could make any sort of impact and were left with embarrassment at home. The 76ers’ tonight’s opponent, the Indiana Pacers produced a brilliant performance to beat the Milwaukee Bucks (139-123).
The Pacers literally thrashed the Bucks in the second half of the game. They won the third quarter 49-37 and the fourth 35-22. It was a complete team effort as there were a total of eight players who ended up with double-digit scores. Eleventh in the East, 6-4 in their last 10, the Pacers are now seriously pushing for a place in the playoffs.
