Fresh off a three-game homestand, the 23-34 Orlando Magic are in the Windy City to face the 26-30 Chicago Bulls.
Orlando went 1-2 during the stretch, the lone win coming against the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets. The Magic have won three of their last five, which includes their last two away games. Back in November, Orlando took down the Bulls in Chicago, 108-107.
Chicago has lost three in a row, but all on the road. At home, they have an active three-game winning streak. Although the Magic beat them in Chicago, the Bulls won the latest game between these teams a few weeks ago. The Bulls are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference right now, just outside of the last play-in spot.
Both squads will be trying to bounce back from a loss tonight. Let’s see which one is in a better position to do so successfully.

Orlando Magic vs. Chicago Bulls Injury Report
The Orlando Magic are fortunate, with no players out with injuries tonight. Everyone they have listed is not with the team because they were bought out or are about to be.
Chicago isn’t quite as lucky, still missing Lonzo Ball and Javonte Green. Alex Caruso has joined them on the injury report as questionable for tonight’s game.
Player | Team | Injury | Status |
Lonzo Ball | Bulls | Knee | Out |
Alex Caruso | Bulls | Foot | Questionable |

Orlando Magic vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction
Both teams struggle offensively, with Orlando ranking 25th in offensive rating and Chicago ranking 24th. Defense is a different story, with the Magic 19th in defensive rating and the Bulls much better at ninth in the NBA.
Orlando is a young team that struggles on the road too, having a 9-19 record away from home and a -139 point differential. The Bulls are 16-11 at home and have been even better since the calendar flipped to 2023. Since then, they are 7-2 with a +71 point differential. DeMar DeRozan has feasted on the Magic this season, putting up 41 points in the first game and 32 in the second. I like the Bulls to beat the spread at home tonight.
