The Knicks suffered defeat at the hands of the Miami Heat (127-120) last night. RJ Barrett and Jalen Brunson were the leading scorers in the losing cause, scoring 26, and 25 points, respectively. Julius Randle had a rather off day as he could finish the game with only 15 points. The Knicks were blown away by Jimmy Butler’s performance, who turned up the heat for Miami, scoring 35 points in the win.
The Knicks are now 5-5 in their last 10 as they get ready to take on the Magic, who are coming off a win against the Washington Wizards (122-112) in their previous outing.
Gary Harris has been going in strong form for the Magic in recent games and stepped up once again with 22 points. Franz Wagner also finished the game with 20 points. The entire starting lineup scored in double digits, leading the team to a 10-point win. Only Kristaps Porzingis looked in scoring touch for the Wizards, ending up with 30 points on the night.
