The 2022-23 NBA season continues on Friday, March 24, with 20 teams in action. Take a look at three strong bets for tonight’s games, featuring Luke Kennard, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Phoenix Suns.
NBA Best Bet #1: Luke Kennard Over 8.5 Points (-125)
I know it’s not the sexiest of names, but it only matters if the bet hits or not. He will be going up against the Houston Rockets and we don’t have to go too far back as he faced off against them on Wednesday and tallied 13 points. He has been one of the best three-point shooters in the entire sport this season at 46.4 percent.
Kennard only needs to knock three of them down without anything else to have the over hit so let’s go with that.
NBA Best Bet #2: San Antonio Spurs +8 (-105)
The San Antonio Spurs are on the road as they take on the Washington Wizards in non-conference action and this game is a battle between two subpar teams. Washington is on a four-game losing streak and cannot figure out how to rack up a win and have both shooting guard Bradley Beal (knee) and small forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) ruled out for this game. Going up against any team with two of your best three players out is not a good recipe for success.
The Spurs are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games against the Wizards so expect them to cover the spread here as well.
NBA Best Bet #3: Phoenix Suns ML (+145)
We have a potential Western Conference playoff series as the Phoenix Suns are on the road as they take on the Sacramento Kings, but one thing is that I do not love this Kings team. Don’t get me wrong, they are definitely a great story and a good team but they are not on the Suns level. The biggest factor is that both small forward Kevin Durant and center Deandre Ayton are going to be out for this matchup, but point guard Chris Paul and shooting guard Devin Booker should be more than enough.
The Suns already hold a 2-1 season series advantage so they have proven to be the better team so go with them to prove it once again.
